Beyond our talent is our purpose; our values; our personalities. Of course, this impacts the approach we choose, the experiences we create and ultimately, the way we make people feel. All the pieces of who we are, shine through our work and when the job is done, our mark is left on those memories forever.

I believe that we’re in the business of moments. Whether it’s creating them, capturing them, shaping them, styling them, planning them or hosting them. The best part is, we all do it differently.

I know, from experience, that brands can be just as unique as the personality behind them. When your character is consistent, your passion is evident and you value your own offering - the right people will find you, adore you and most importantly, book you.

It all sounds so simple, right?

Well, working alone can be isolating and there’s a lot to see on the social scene. It’s easy to get caught up watching other people succeed and sometimes, whether we know it or not, we go beyond finding inspiration and take things that aren’t ours.

I think Oscar Wilde got it right when he said “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.” My goal, with Savour’s 1:1 sessions, is to help creatives articulate who they are and how they see the world, so the couples chasing that same view can find them.

I’m here to bring out the best in creatives who love what they do and want to shine on their own terms.

Strategy Session

    A Strategy Session is where I give answers, based on my own business experience and share strategic ideas, based on your business goals.

    A Strategy Session is for Wedding Vendors who:

  • 1.5 hours.

    We’ll meet at a Newcastle Cafe or chat over Zoom.

    During this time, we’ll discuss where your business is now, where you want it to be and what’s not working within your current approach.

    Based on your goals, business values, capacity, and service offerings, we will:

    Identify what’s stopping you from moving forward and find a way to work around it, jump over it or plough through it.

    AND

    Create a strategy to bridge the gap between where you are and where you’re going, with action you can take immediately.

    THEN

    To finish off this session, I will review your website and offer tailored suggestions on how to improve your first impression and increase enquiries by:

    • Assessing your brand consistency

    • Evaluating the quality of your content in line with your current goals

    • Assessing how you showcase your value vs price point

    • Reviewing the visual appeal of your website

    • Reviewing your Call to Action

    • Telling you how to make the perfect Margarita.

Same Day Copywriting

  • A service that speaks for itself.

    Copy shapes the character of our brand, in the mind of our client.

    It’s the voice that screams, this is who I am and, most importantly, this is the experience I can create for you.

    When I write copy, I’m not just sharing a story, I'm setting an expectation.

    The goal is: by the time your client actually speaks to you, they’re already 90 percent sold. The final step is to confirm that you are who your marketing lead them to believe you would be.

    So, who are you?

    Book a Same Day Copywriting Session with me if:

    • You know who you are, and what your unique selling point is.

    • You want to make a statement with your brand identity.

    • You want to express the value of a tailored client experience, in addition to the service you provide.

    • You have an ideal client and you want to attract more of them.

    • You want your ideal client to feel connected to your brand, above all others.

  • Up to 4 hours.

    We’ll meet at a cafe in Newcastle or over Zoom.

    During this time, we’ll chat like old friends, about your long and short term goals, passions, business values and ideal client/target market.

    Based on our conversation, I will then write either:

    Website copy: ‘About Me’ and ‘My Approach’

    OR

    A submission for a wedding Publication: An Interview or Blog Article

    I will ask you to review the copy as I write, and I will make immediate changes, as necessary.

    At the end of the session, your copy will be complete. I will send it to you in a Word Document, before we part ways. This means you can apply it straight to your website, that same day!

    *Note: all writing, reviewing and editing is completed during the 4 hour session. I will ensure you are happy with the final product before we part ways.

    *Note: I will be writing in your voice, not mine. There will be chats and questions and chances are, you’ll need to dig deep.

    Based on the creative skill you want to offer, the type of Client you want to attract, the income you want to earn and the schedule you want to set, we’ll collaborate to create a Brand Plan that includes:

    • Brand Position: We’ll identify your position in the current market, highlighting your mission, values and Unique Selling Point to ensure you stand out.

    • Ideal Client: We’ll create a detailed Buyer Persona to get a clear understanding of who your Ideal Client is and what it will take for them to trust you.

    • Brand Identity: We’ll establish the voice and tone of your messaging and develop a real-life personality your Ideal Client will grow to love.

    • Social Media Strategy: We’ll discuss your presence on social media, identifying how to introduce your business in a big way, whilst maintaining consistency across all Client touch points.

    • Online presence: We’ll run through a list of what absolutely must be on your website to create a positive and memorable first impression, show your value, and lead your Ideal Client to enquire with you.

    • Engaging your audience: We’ll create a strategy to show how the experience you offer will positively impact your clients.

    • Package options: We’ll design valuable offerings that your Ideal Client will be happy to pay for.

    • Workflow: The Brand Plan also includes access to my Automated Workflow for Wedding Vendors. Together, we’ll evaluate which communication points need to be included in your process and how to tailor the templates included to match your Brand Personality. This means you’ll have everything done right, from the start.

Same Day Copywriting

A few years ago, some vendor friends told me about the copywriting service Lozzy offers. I thought it was really cool and I saw the value in it, but I was hesitant because Loz has such a big, excited voice and I didn’t feel like that tone matched my business.

Recently I went over my website and decided that my ‘About Me’ section wasn’t aligning with the rest of my brand. I had a beautiful portfolio, a high minimum spend and cool clients were enquiring with me. I just felt like my ‘About Me’ wasn’t explaining who I am, what my values are, why I do what I do, or telling a story about my business. It didn’t make sense.

I’m good at flowers. I’m not good with words. They’re just not my thing, so I knew it was time to call Lozzy.

When we caught up for coffee, it was super casual. We just sat down and started to chat. I showed her the copy I had and explained how I wanted my ‘About Me’ section to make people feel. I told her I wanted to explain why I love creating flowers, why I love doing weddings and identify the type of people I like working with.

From there, she just asked me questions, and a lot of them really made me think. While we were chatting, I was just sipping my coffee, relaxed as ever and she was typing away at immense speed, wearing her cute little glasses. I had no idea what she was writing.

The coolest thing about it was that Loz took the initiative to write my story in three different parts, outlining where I came from, how Film and Foliage was built and what I like to create for couples now, which is an amazing journey for a client to take.

The thing that surprised me most was Lozzy’s adaptability to my tone of voice and her understanding of what I wanted to communicate. She teased out so many tiny details from our conversation and looking back, she’s shown me why I like doing flowers more than I even realised. I was really impressed that she could not only give me that clarity but also share it with anyone who lands on my website.

It was such a cool experience.
